Tuesday night was {Art Night} at Holden’s school.
I remember thinking last year how exciting it would be to see Holden’s works of art this year…
I’ll say it again…oh, how the months fly by!
{Self Portrait ~ LOVE how he captured that spikey hair, those LONG lashes and that BIG smile! He forgot my favorite, the dimples!}
{3D Art/Wood Sculpture ~ What a colorful statement this will make in our home!}
{Don’t quite remember what this one was…”Draw whatever you want” maybe? 😉 I do love the fin on the one-eyed shark. I must say this is the happiest shark…and the little fish {or giant sperm cell!} is also all smiles. I hope a psychologist would say that all these euphoric sea creatures are the sign of a happy child!}
{Easel Painting ~ Looks like he was in a sunshiny mood that day. Love how Miss Cathi captured that true artistic look!}
{Tissue Paper Art ~ The most colorful stingray I’ve ever seen. I’ll bet he’s smiling, too!}
{Ice Painting}
{And last, but most certainly not least, Textural Art ~ Again, this will add a nice POP of color around the house!}
Thank you, Holden for sharing all your masterpieces. You’ve been busy!
Warms this Mama’s heart to see so much cheery yellow and so many smiles.
Until next year…
Holden is a budding artist too. Those are serious works of art for a 3 1/2 yr old! Good job, Holdy.
I love this idea! I want to share it with Sophie’s preschool.
