Last night was “McTeacher” night at one of the local Mickey D’s. The teachers took turns behind the counter helping take orders, and a portion of the proceeds go to the school.
It was chaos, but the kids LOVED it, of course.
What could be better than enjoying a cheeseburger {ketchup only} Happy Meal with a My Little Pony and monster truck toy WITH LOTS of your classmates?
Elliott has a big 5th grader friend {the sister of a little boy in her class} that gave her a hug when she walked in. So cute. And Holden already has a handful of {big boy} buddies that shout his name whenever they see him.
It’s so fun sitting back and watching them run around with their pals. Being chased by boys. Screaming. Doing silly {inside joke} stuff. And hugging each other hello and good-bye.

What a joy to see you giving the children so many happy and cherished times! You are enjoying them “in real time” and recording them for us and history. How thankful I am for that! And, Holdie already having “big buddies”. As I sit here on my couch (160 miles away) I am right there with you all! (Would give anything for a lick of that ice cream cone!)
