~First of all, you have gotten me hooked on the Havaiana’s…I am now the proud owner of 2 pairs and I were them everywhere I can. Tried wearing them to work, but that was a no go!!

Fall is by far my favorite season, I love everything about it. Fall Foliage in New England is breathtaking, getting back to cooking “comfort foods”, pumpkins, apple picking…Love everything about it.

This fall I am so looking forward to my first trip to Las Vegas…going the very end of October and I am so excited I could burst. Too bad we will miss you by a couple of weeks, that would have been too funny if we were there at the same time.

Have a very happy birthday and enjoy Vegas!!

My favorite fall activity is going to the punkin’ patch with my precious grandchildren. Do I win???? I can pick them up and you won’t even have to mail them! (the flip flops, not the children!)

    Hi Amy!
I miss you terribly! I hope to share a pumpkin spice latte with you sometime VERY soon. My favorite part of this time of year is sharing Thanksgiving dinner with my big family around a long table with lots of love and lots of laughs!!!
    Love, Lisa

Fall is my favorite season! Certanily the pumpkin patch and baking all-things pumpkin are traditions. But this year, I’m going to start a new tradition making apple butter and baking a pumpkin from scratch. Wish me luck!

Love reading your blog Miss Amy ~
My favorite fall tradition is loading up the kids and the big red wagon and heading to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center to find the perfect pumpkins for carving. We spend lots of time perusing the big orange gourds before choosing and then we head to the little store to stock up on nuts for all the winter baking I do. We also each get a little bag of corn kernals so we can feed the animals before we leave. I love Bates!

    Amy,

Thanks for celebrating Fall – my favorite time of year – as with the everyone else!

Since I love it so much, it was hard to choose – pumpkin patches, decorating for Halloween, sharing Thanksgiving…but my favorite is making apple pie. My Grandmother is the BEST pie baker, with no recipe, just a little flour, Crisco and some ice water for the crust (really I had to make her write down somewhat of a recipe to follow). Then my Mom has adjusted the apple filling – 4 kinds of apples to find the right balance. And I, have now added homemade cinnamon ice cream. So, apple pie across the generations – I can’t wait until Fall comes, so we can enjoy every last bite.
Thanks for sharing Fall with me…
    Melanie

    Happy Birthday!

I love fall so much. I love putting up fall decorations and lighting the spiced cider candle. I enjoy eating soups and yummy breads along with anything related to apples. I love going to the pumpkin patch or picking apples. Enjoying the crisp fall air. Fall makes me homesick. I miss smelling the fire in the fireplace my dad had burning every morning. Someday I will have a fireplace again.
