Warm & Cozy
Warm & cozy has taken on a new meaning since Fall’s arrival.
While it’s been warm {HOT!} outside, I’ve tried to make it feel like Fall on the inside with comfort foods and a sweet, Halloween inspired treat.
{Slow cooker chicken & dumplings}
Turned out great….I dialed up the veggies a lot and next time I will use a couple bone-in breasts, but the drumsticks worked fine and turned out really tender.
For a special dessert on Popsi’s last night, I made these again…
They’re like over-sized, soft Oreos!
I tinted the frosting orange and rolled some of them in silver jimmies.
I may or may have dunked one in my coffee the next morning.

Looking forward to trying some new salads for awhile, though.
All this comfort food and lingering hot weather is a dangerous combination as I haven’t gotten out to run as much!
Always looking for new salad ideas…how do you prepare your rabbit food? 😉
Do tell!

Where has September gone?
Getting ready to dig out our “Halloween Box” from the garage.
Pumpkins. Skeletons. Ghosts. Goblins. Candy corn. Caramel apples. Tombstones. Spider webs. Haunted houses. Costumes. Masks.

Halloween is lurking right around the corner!
Enjoy the last day of September Twenty-Ten.

I’m so excited to decorate for Halloween too. We’ll be breaking out the decor this weekend. Hopefully the weather is cooling a bit. It’s actually raining here right now! How random is that!
