The last several days I have been consumed with house hunting.

Glued to MLS listings. Visiting many. Loving one. Finding out it’s already in escrow. Hating some. Seeing the potential in others. Not being able to afford this. Able to easily walk away from that.

It’s draining.

I am not good at house hunting. If I see a place I like I immediately {move in}. OK, I’ll put this here. The hutch will go there. The Christmas tree will look fantastic here. Hmmmm, may need to paint that wall a different color. Etc.

Right now I live in about 3 houses.

We’re renting. We love our neighborhood. Our house. The schools. Our friends & neighbors.

But we also want a place that’s OURS.

As much as we love where we are, we still feel a little unsettled.

So, we’ll keep hunting. Searching for the {perfect} place to call HOME.

Jay MUST have a full-fledged driveway.

I {need} granite & plantation shutters.

Time will tell.

It always does….we just have to be patient.

In the meantime I have not given Jillian my full attention.

I have invitations to put together and disperse.

Last night’s dishes are in the sink.

I need to figure out two teacher appreciation goodies.

Fold 3 loads of laundry on the guest room bed.

Make a few phone calls.

Reply to a few e-mails.

Help Elliott with some {bird} homework.
