Forgotten Gem
{via}
We’ve been on a bit of a “Play-Doh break”.
I was tired of the neon stuff being forever ingrained into my sisal rugs.
I’ve even found several “speckled” piles of dog poop out in the backyard when I do clean up on Tuesday mornings before the gardeners come.
The play-doh was packed up and put away in the garage for a good while until yesterday when Holden asked for his play-doh suitcase. It was such a gorgeous day and since I was in {simple} mode, I figured what better way to spend an afternoon outside than with a few containers of fresh ‘doh and several cookie cutters and other gadgets.
They made cupcakes and french fries. Rings and cookies.
Holden spent the WHOLE morning out back in his pajamas with his ‘doh again.
Happy as a clam.
I’d forgotten the hours of entertainment this stuff provides. Now my gravel is sprinkled with green, pink and blue, but I can handle that.
One thing that I CANNOT handle is Moon Sand….

Hope your Monday also included a forgotten treasure or two!

We LOVE moon sand. They have to keep it in a big baking pan on the table. Sammy likes to play in a baking pan full of dry beans and rice too. He measures and pours. Corn starh and water are fun too. That would be good outside. And shaving cream. Let them cover themselves with shaving cream for a slick ride on the slip and slide. I was very jealous of those pics. Speaking of jealous my SIL is taking her Havaianas to Thailand on Saturday.
