Autumn In A Paper Wrapper
Apple + a stick + caramel = Fall
However, I found a recipe for apple cupcakes and one for caramel butter cream and married the two.
Perfection.
I usually cheat and use a boxed mix, but Betty & Duncan can eat their hearts out.
These apple cupcakes from scratch are SO easy.
{I suppose you could use a spice cake mix and just add a chopped Granny Smith, too.}
The butter cream uses caramel ice cream topping and can be whipped up in no time.
Next time I’ll make my own caramel, though.

These were delish (I’m glad I still have the extras!)
The best part was having them brought to me so lovingly by Elliott and Holden. They get such a delight in the simple joys of giving! That’s what life is all about!
This was the most memorable birthday, E-V-E-R! They get better with the children participating in them!
