Apparently {Not} Sew
I want to make Holden a little tee for his birthday with a big “4” sewn or appliqued {fancy sewing term} on the front with some cute fabric.
Like this, but without the name…

I like the simplicity of this one….

Those stitches are even hand done maybe, no?

I mentioned this to Elliott the other day and she immediately responded with a resounding, “But you don’t know how to sew!”
She’s right.
But I didn’t think I knew how to make rosettes either.
Off to Google a tutorial and find my Joann’s coupon.
Happy {Superbowl} Sunday!

I have a sewing machine if you would like to check it out. I’ll have to dust it off but let me know!!

How cute would the “4” be if it was made out of fire engine material? or red chenille?

Maybe you can find the number 4 already pre-made like the picture and you can stitch it on by hand, slip stitch or overcast. Not a sewing expert myself either. But definitely would make his birthday attire very special.
