  1. My favorite side dish is cornbread dressing. Even in NorCal, I still make it to remind me of southern thanksgiving!

  2. My favorite Thanksgiving sides are homemade stuffing and good ole cranberry sauce!!! Happy Turkey Day from the East Coast!!!

  3. My favorite Thanksgiving side dishes are cranberry sauce (jellied, of course) and home made rolls! Happy Thanksgiving from the South! πŸ™‚

  4. So fun! I was thinking about this today – Thanksgiving. My favorite dish is creamed spinach and stuffing. Oh and orange cranberry sauce. We’re out of the country this year for Thanksgiving so I’m making an early one next week and cannot wait for leftovers! =)

  5. oh how i want that plate.
    SO BAD.

just so i can eat a slice of pumpkin and a slice of pecan pie on it. πŸ™‚

    also. sweet potatoes.
both are my fav side dishes.
yes. the pie is a side.

  6. Baked and Mashed Eggcorn Squash
Two Eggcorn Squashes sliced lenthwise and cleaned out.
Place flesh-side down in baking dish with 1/2 inch water.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes (until you can easily pierce the flesh with a fork)
Remove and handle carefully because they will be very hot.
Scoop flesh into a casserole dish and add brown sugar, salt and butter to taste.
Bake at 350 for another 20 minutes. DELICIOUS!

  7. My favorite is green bean casserole-yum! I also love sweet potatoes, but we have them so regularly I don’t even consider them a special Thanksgiving food anymore. πŸ™‚

  8. My favorite side dish is creamed corn. It’s become a Thanksgiving tradition. And every year, when the dish is empty, I think, “Why don’t I make this throughout the year?!”

  9. cute cute cute giveaway!!!

oh my favorite side dish is lefse. not sure if it counts but i only make it twice a year at thanksgiving and christmas. it’s a Norwegian traditional food made from potatoes rolled up like a tortilla with butter and sugar on it. yummy!!! i really could just eat that and skip turkey etc…

  10. I didn’t know u had a blog…so fun!!! My fav is sweet potatos w brown sugar and marshmallows. But they have to be fresh sweet potatos. No canned ones πŸ™‚
