Elliott and I had a little TJ Maxx date this morning while Holden was in school.

I was on the hunt for something for Jay’s Holiday Party.

I found a gorgeous, fully-lined black & silver houndstooth belted pencil skirt for $10.00…

I envisioned wearing it with tights and possibly some low boots ~ a look that was completely opposite of what I originally had in mind, but all of a sudden excited about ~ more of a classic look this year.

But it was one size too small…

Would’ve been fine if I didn’t sit down the whole evening. You know, just stood in one place.

Made me wish I hadn’t eaten those peanut butter cookies and espresso brownies last week!

God forbid I wear something already in my closet.
