Ruffles & Sparkles vs. Plaid
So far the TWO (count ‘em…one. two.) mornings that we’ve had with our new elementary school student in the house have been a little challenging in the wardrobe department.
We lay the outfit out the night before and everything is hunky dory….
…until the next morning when it’s time to get dressed.

Misunderstanding
Recently I was having a little conversation with Holden regarding preschool.
I told him that him that while Sissy was at kindergarten that he was going to go to preschool.
Elliott pipes in, “Yes, I’m going to kindergarten. You’re going to preschool. And Mommy’s going SHOPPING!”

Best Dressed
Even after last week’s back-to-school shopping fiasco, I decided to challenge myself and take the kids to Marshall’s to look for school shoes.
I’m happy to report, though, that we had a successful outing and came home with these cuties:

It’s back-to-school shopping time.
I loved this as a kid and teenager.
Shopping for all the new school clothes, shoes, Trapper Keepers and Pee Chee folders!
